1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

This 1988 Mercedes 560SL has mere 64k miles and is a two-owner example finished in classic Arctic White over Palomino leather.  The car has started life in sunny California, later it moved to its second owner to Idaho, where it was a summer weekend car.  

 

Wonderful original condition with zero rust.  Complete service records dating back to the first purchase are included, along with an original window sticker, purchase order, warranty card, stamped service book, and owners manuals.  Clean Carfax record confirms the low mileage.  Factory VIN tags are present on all body panels, which tells you this is a no-accident, no-stories car. 

 

The paint and the interior are in great condition.  The beautiful contrasting dark-brown soft top looks like it has been never used, with original plastic windows showing the MB star.  A factory matching hardtop is of course included, and the seals were previously replaced.  The engine is the high-compression 279 PS version introduced for MY 1988, making this Panzerwagen surprisingly quick. 

 

Within the last three years, the front ABS sensors, belts and radiator hoses, axle shaft seals, trans oil cooler pipes, and power steering pump were replaced, and the steering gearbox was overhauled.
